Student Church And Family Worker

Hi, I am Becki. I am the new Children and Family InspYre student. I am working in Banner Cross Methodist, Endcliffe Methodist and Millhouses Methodist.

I am 20 years old. I am doing the Children and Family work and Practical Theology degree. I come from Port Talbot, South Wales. Port Talbot is a small industrial town with a lovely beach. My home church is Jerusalem Baptist Church in Briton Ferry. I became a Christian when I was 9 and then got baptised when I was 15. When I was at home I led Youth Events, youth clubs, ran junior church for 5 -10 year olds and helped out in creche.

I love shopping and listening to music. When I am at home, I live with my mum. I also have a sister, Amy who is 17 and hoping to go into animal care.

I am really enjoying the course and placement so far, and looking forward to new challenges that will come my way.
