Our New Superintendent  - Reverend Tim Crome

Tim CromeTim Crome has been appointed as the Superintendent for the Sheffield (Ecclesall) District with Pastoral Responsibility for Banner Cross and Dore Methodist Church. He will be taking up his position in September 2012. A deacon has been appointed to Dore Methodist Church.

His current appointment is Superintendent to the North Kent Methodist Circuit. Previously he has worked for Birmingham South West Circuit, Ipswich Circuit, and the Clifton and Redland Circuit in Bristol.

He studied for a BA Honours degree in Theology at Exeter from 1978 to1981. His ministerial training was at Bristol from 1983 to 1987, which included two years as a student minister. During his sabbaticals he has visited Iona and Taize.  He has been involved in many projects including the merger of circuits.

He is married to Cathy and has four children. The youngest will be going to university in October 2012. His interests include walking, reading, listening and making music, and spending time with the family. Cathy is passionate about the garden.
