Marie Curie Tea Party

This year the Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Blooming Great Tea Party was held on Saturday, 9 July 2011  at Banner Cross Methodist Church and was a great success. Yet again we were wondering about the weather when we put the marquee up at dinner time. Was it going to rain?

Well we decided that we would be positive  and go ahead as planned. And guess what it turned out to be a beautiful afternoon.

Cream teas were served.  There was a cake stall, and a white elephant stall.  

This year £210 was raised for the charity.
