Advent Service of Light

On the first Sunday evening of Advent we celebrate the fortelling of the coming of Jesus Christ by the Old Testament prophets and John the Baptist.

The Service takes the form of seven Bible readings sandwiched between eight hymns and carols with prayers and a freewill offering. At the end of each Bible reading a candle is lit.
