Messy Church

Banner Cross Methodist Church invites you to 

Our next Messy Church will be on Saturday, 23 June 2012 from 10.00 - 12.00

Come and get messy and have some fun while creating and making.

Ages from 3 to 12 (younger children can stay if accompanied by an adult)

The theme for the morning is the Queen's Golden Jubilee. There will be a charge of £1 payable on the day for materials.

An application form will need filling in if you have not been before. It can be downloaded from here or can be filled in on the day.

Easter Messy Church was held on Saturday, 31 March 2012.

We had twentythree children turn up. What a great turnout!! Everyone that came had a great time. Parents/child minders of the children stayed to help and encourage their children. We used the church for crafts and served refreshments to the children about 11.00 a.m. in the Quiet Room.  A short story was read whilst the children had their refreshments.

The activities included:

Decorating an Easter bonnet

Painting a picture of Spring

Making Easter cards

Making an Easter egg nest

Making Easter buns

Making a table decoration

At the end of the session a parachute was used for games whilst we waited for some of the parents to arrive.
